Commissions from owners/admirers of classic and cherished vehicles and commercial organisations are welcome.
My aim is to create a unique and personal artwork which captures the subject in a way that provides lasting pleasure to the owner.
A major source of inspiration for my paintings is the art and craft of vehicle design, so I take great care to ensure the subtleties of the design are captured accurately.
As each commission is unique it's only possible to give a firm quotation once a brief has been established - this includes a number of factors such as the size of the artwork, the style, the complexity of composition and the reference material.
All these details will be included in the quote to be agreed by the client before the commission is started.
Initially sketches are produced to establish the overall composition. Once agreed, a final design is produced either as a detailed drawing or digitally using photographs. This forms the final blueprint for the composition which is then executed in the agreed style and size.
I generally use photographs for reference and where possible prefer to take the photographs myself.
A deposit is required to place the work on my waiting list - this is formulated on a queue basis and each work is started in the order the deposits are received. (NB deposits are non-refundable).
