'One of the finest artists working in the genre'

This painting features one of the most successful racing cars of all time, the Bugatti type 35, which won over 1,000 races in its time.

The painting is large at 2x1 metres and is painted in Oils onto a specially fabricated Aluminium panel.

The areas representing the wheels and other metal parts have been left in bare Aluminuim which has been etched to a matt finish, then painted with tints and glazes to create the shapes and patina.

The background has been painted with the Bugatti emblem and the border of the emblem has been wire brushed to subtly catch the light.

The artwork is signed and dated by the artist on a specially made 'signature' plate, which along with the 'title' plate is riveted to the front of the painting.
