This work features one of the most famous and beautiful cars of all time, the Aston Martin DB5 in Silver Birch. It features a partial side and front elevation of the car combined with details taken from factory drawings.

The artwork is painted in oils onto a specially fabricated aluminum panel.

The car's chrome work is reflective, created by polishing the Aluminium and shading with transparent oil glazes, the dark background was achieved by blackening the Aluminium with acid, while the DB5 badge has been brushed.

The surface treatments subtly catch the light according to the position of the viewer and lighting conditions, bringing the image to life. 

The artwork is signed and dated by the artist on a specially made 'signature' plate.
